Weight loss is a body weight reduction which is achieved by diets and exercises. Furthermore, weight loss can be a  result of an illness. When getting less calories then needed, the body begins to burn the fat reserved in the fat tissue. The regular daily intake of calories should be approximately 1800-2200 calories.

Today keeping a diet or voluntary weight loss is a common fact for people suffering from heart dysfunction, obesity or for those ones who desire to look good. Regarding the involuntary weight loss, it may be caused by the following severe conditions:

  • Chronic diarrhea
When the body mass index is above 27 and 30, this means that a person is suffering from obesity or such over risk factors like diabetes or hypertension. For people suffering from obesity, specific weight loss medications must be prescribed only by a doctor.
