Categories: Flea/Tick Description: ULTRUM® Powder is a perfumed insecticidal talc-based powder containing propoxur, which has a high safety factor in mammals. ULTRUM® Powder can be used on both cats and dogs as part of a flea (and tick) control programme. It can also be used on birds (cage birds and poultry) for control of feather mites, red mites and lice. It is safe enough to be used on kittens and puppies. It is excellent for use in vacuum cleaner bags: sprinkle some in the bag before vacuuming and any fleas or flea eggs that get sucked up will perish. Composition: Contains 1,5% propoxur. Directions for use: Use only as directed. Dust liberally and work well into the coat of the dog, cat, puppy or kitten. Also dust powder onto bedding and sleeping area. Repeat every six to seven days. In severe infestations repeat treatment every four days. For birds and poultry: hold bird by legs and lightly powder from above (take care not to over-expose birds to the fine powder – excessive dusting may result in suffocation).
